Fingerprinting

The sheriff's office provides fingerprinting services for in-county residents for a small fee. These can often be used for Self Defense Act (SDA) permits, employment, or background checks. Fingerprinting appointments can be made via phone, or by scanning or clicking on the below QR code. The link will take you away from this site and to our Microsoft Bookings page to set an appointment. Walk-in appointments are also acceptable upon availability.

Please note that while an appointment might be made, fingerprinting is performed by our staff inside of the detention center, and if an incident occurs in the detention center, they must tend to that first which may delay your appointment slightly. Additionally, no person under the age of 18 may enter the detention center, so plan for that accordingly. We ask that any child age 12 and under be supervised by another accompanying adult, otherwise children age 13+ may sit in the lobby of the ground floor of the courthouse just outside the detention center doors at the discretion of the fingerprintee.
