The sheriff’s office wears many hats, but one that might be the most obvious, is that we provide police services to the citizens of Stephens County. Deputies patrol throughout the county responding to calls for service. They conduct traffic stops which sometime lead to large drug busts or DUI arrests, to help keep our citizens safe. The sheriff's office, when called upon, will assist other agencies in investigations wherever needed, given that it doesn’t take away from our own jurisdiction.
